Believe me I am happy that India won the CB series against Australia. It was a good series. The team won the cup and the prize money.
Why is the BCCI giving each player a cheque for 58 Lakh Indian rupees
I understand the BCCI wants to encourage the players but in a market economy if the players win they will get massive Ad revenues so they are encouraged by the market to perform well.
Whats BCCI doing giving them so much money when most of the great Indian team's fans are earning MUCH MUCH lesser than that. This money could have been put to use for homeless people, AIDS afflicted people or even building hospitals in the villages.
What a waste of money :(
